The Montreal Gazette reported yesterday that authorities have named stripper and adult film actor Luka Rocco Magnotta as the prime suspect in the murder and dismemberment of a Montreal man.

The victim’s torso was found Tuesday morning inside a suitcase next to a garbage dump. Authorities have also confirmed that both a severed foot and hand discovered separately did belong to the deceased. Both body parts were packaged, with the foot mailed to the Conservative Party of Canada headquarters in Ottawa and the hand discovered by investigators at the Ottawa Postal Terminal inside a parcel addressed to the Liberal Party of Canada.

Police have apparently obtained video footage of the crime and are currently keeping the victim’s identity undisclosed.

Bluebird Films owner Paul Chaplin confirmed his departure from the studio yesterday via an announcement on the Bluebird message board.

Chaplin, who performed, produced and directed for Bluebird in addition to helming the company, stated that his focus will now be on Loaded, the British lad magazine he purchased last month.

It is currently unknown who will resume ownership duties in the wake of Chaplin’s departure.

The Free Speech Coalition posted on its official blog today that the group has been notified by the Los Angeles City Administrator’s Office that City Council is referring development of enforcement strategy for the city condom ordinance to the Arts, Parks, Health & Aging Committee.

Until recently, the responsibility of devising an enforcement policy for the ordinance fell with the City Administrator-appointed Working Group on the City of Los Angeles Safer Sex in the Adult Film Industry Ordinance. Last week, the organization requested a 90-day extension of presenting results of a report that would have recommended protocols for enforcing condom use during adult film shoots.

Both XBIZ and Adult Video News are reporting that Amanda Logue – who performed in adult films under the name “Sunny Dae” – pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in a Florida courtroom yesterday for her role in the 2010 stabbing death of tattoo parlor owner Dennis “Scooter” Abrahamsenon.

According to reports, Dae and her boyfriend, gay performer Jason Andrews, murdered Abrahamsenon on the morning of May 15 following a sex party he had hired Dae to work and then proceeded to rob the deceased of his credit card, laptop, camera and six thousand dollars.

As a result of the plea, Dae will serve 40 years in prison, while Andrews – who was convicted on first-degree murder charges in January – is currently serving a life sentence.

Vivid Entertainment contract director B. Skow has cordially departed Vivid Entertainment and announced the creation of his own studio, Skow Digital.

Skow began directing for Vivid in 2005 and had been with the company for nearly 20 years after starting out as a photographer for its box covers, layouts and advertisements in 1994.

Skow says he has three movies completed for his label, which is slated to launch in the near future. Additionally, he has agreed to sign on with another studio as their contract director, a deal which will also allow him to produce content for Skow Digital.

Los Angeles City Administrative Officer Miguel Santana issued a letter Wednesday to City Council asking that an additional 90 days be granted to his Working Group on the Safer Sex in the Adult Film Industry Ordinance to work out the details pertaining to enforcement of the mandatory condom regulation passed this past January, citing “complexities of this issue.”

The request comes following last week’s announcement that the final report pertaining to the ordinance – which was scheduled to be delivered to the Council on May 16 – had been postponed until another meeting the following week (a meeting that never took place).

TMZ reports that WWE superstar-turned-adult film performer Chyna collapsed in front of the main stage at Exxxotica Miami earlier this afternoon.

Chyna was checked out by paramedics at the scene, who determined the actress did not need to be hospitalized.

Chyna cancelled an appearance scheduled for this afternoon at the XBIZ Summit and is reportedly resting at a nearby hotel.

Adult megastar Houston, who earned the title of “The Gang Bang Queen” following her 1999 Guinness World Record-setting sex session in the film World’s Biggest Gangbang 3: The Houston 620, has released an autobiography chronicling her years in erotic entertainment both on and off-set, her recent battle with cancer and current life as a Las Vegas realtor.
