The one-time veterinarian technician has won the adoration of thousands of XXX fans while working for some of the top studios in adult such as Vivid Entertainment, Wicked Pictures, Hustler, Digital Playground and numerous others.

First, I’d like to congratulate you on being this month’s Penthouse cover girl and September Pet of the Month.

Thank you.

How did it feel when you received the news that you would appear on the cover?

I was ecstatic; I was going after it for about a year. Every time I shot for Penthouse, I would ask them about it and I was getting my fans to Tweet and stuff to Penthouse.

They brought me in for a big photo shoot and when they did the photo shoot, I knew that they were testing me for Pet because they don’t do photo shoots like that for nothing. They dressed me up as Marie Antoinette – it was crazy; it was awesome!

I did a great photo shoot and then went to Hawaii for a few days. The day I got back, my agent called and he’s like, “You have to go to Penthouse tomorrow.” And I’m like, “Okay …” So, I went and Cisco came into the kitchen and he told me, and honestly, I wanted to run around the whole studio naked screaming. It was great. I’ve been trying for it for so long, I’ve busted my ass, I do the best that I can and take care of myself to the best of my ability. I had put it out there for a while and … it’s like, if you ask the universe for things, the universe does answer.

I was really happy. May 2 was the day that they told me, I believe; then I shot all the photos in June. I was bugging Cisco the whole time to let me know as soon as he’d seen it, so the very first day the shipment of magazines came in to the Penthouse office, he texted me and said, “It’s here. Let’s check it out.” I was, like, dying for it – “Can I please come and check it out?” I was so excited. So, I went over there and picked it up. I’m really happy about it.

capripenthousecoverAbsolutely. I’m not sure if you have found yourself in this position yet, but if so, what is it like to be in a store or out in public and see yourself on the cover of a magazine on the newsstands?

It’s cool ! It’s really cool. It came out the day before I left to feature dance in Oregon and when I got off the plane in Oregon, I was walking through the airport and I looked to my left – and you know how they have all the newspapers and magazines at the airport – and all of the dirty magazines are at the very top. I skimmed with my eyes and I saw the top of my head. I was like, “Oh, damn!” I ran over and hauled it out and I was like, “Oh, shit – that’s awesome!” Like … fuck. That’s cool.

I was actually reading up in preparation for the interview and saw another you had done earlier this year where you stated that becoming a Penthouse Pet was one of your biggest goals, so it’s very nice that it has come to fruition.

Yep – thanks.

Do you have any projects on the horizon with Penthouse stemming from the magazine spread and cover?

Well, they are going to do a pussy mold. (Laughs) So, that’s coming up. They are going to have me do some promotional work – some club appearances and what not and opening of different clubs.

I would really like to push to get Pet of the Year. That’s my next little project and I’m pretty adamant that I want it. And I deserve it. Penthouse, they need someone who is mature enough and responsible enough and beautiful enough to represent their company to the world, and I know that that’s what I am.

And with the Pet of the Month title, you are now automatically in the running for Pet of the Year at the end of 2013.

Of course. Exactly. There are only twelve girls, so out of the twelve girls, they just have to take a look at who is going to represent the company the best. And from the Pets that I’ve seen in the past, they typically choose responsible girls, reliable girls – Nikki Benz, she was one, Nicole Aniston and Taylor Vixen, all three are people that I know and they all deserve it and have done very, very well and I think I deserve it, too.

BFdj1N9CIAAdnMwGoing back a little bit, can you tell us how you entered the adult industry initially?

Back in 2007, I started to think about it because I wanted to have sex with girls. What was happening in Vancouver was I was meeting these girls and they just weren’t all that great, they weren’t that cute. And I just wanted to fuck hot girls like me, I wanted to fuck a girl who took care of herself like me who was open.

What I ended up doing with my ex-boyfriend is we hired an escort (Laughs). I was like, “Hey, she’s really hot. I could do this.” I was also doing modeling – I did a photo shoot for Playboy and that was the first time I took off my clothes. And that’s kind of where it started really getting on my mind where, “Okay, why don’t you look into porn because then you can fuck these girls. You can do the photography; you’re getting the best of everything that you want.”

And I had been looking for a way out of Canada. I wanted to relocate to Los Angeles and I just couldn’t find a way to. I was trying to get sponsored by a veterinarian – because I used to be a veterinarian technician – and that just wasn’t happening fast enough.

I got in touch with this one agent – anything I do, I do very slowly because I know you can always go forward, but you can not go backward. So, I took my time. I had talked about it – waited about six, seven months. I talked about it with this girl and by the time I was actually ready to come down, she was out of this business and she ended up referring me to L.A. Direct Models.

At the time, I had a website with my mainstream portfolio and I contacted Derek Hay from L.A. Direct Models and told him to log on to my site. He saw what I had to offer and immediately asked me to get on a plane.

It took me about two weeks to come down. I came down and went in his office and he convinced me into doing boy/girl because of money; I was worried of not being able to pay for the immigration and all that on a girl/girl wage. He actually told me that I wouldn’t survive if I only did girl/girl, which he was full of shit, but I understand why he did that – because he saw a giant dollar bill on my face.

I understand. I totally understand why he pushed me to do boy/girl – because it was more lucrative for him and for me. I shot five or six scenes, I went home with what for me at the time was a shitload of money – on a veterinarian technician’s wage, porn pays way better.

I went home, I gave my job a month’s notice – I was a manager and I had to hire people to replace me – and that was that. I got in my car, I packed my car up with as much of my stuff and I could and my dog and drove here.

You have appeared in a couple of major parodies including Hustler’s This Ain’t Die Hard XXX and more recently the Love Boat parody from Adam & Eve. Do you enjoy the acting aspect of the industry?

I do! I do, do. Now that I’ve become really comfortable with the sex part of it, I really enjoy the acting. I need something to challenge me; just straight sex, that’s not challenging anymore – I can do a good scene. I want to, of course, try and do other things in my scenes like anal and stuff down the road, but for the acting, yeah, I like it.

I really liked being in the Adam & Eve one. The Die Hard one, I didn’t get to act. It was a solo. I really wanted more than just a solo in that scene, but I don’t know why they put it to a solo. But there was no acting in that; it was like me walking out of the elevator holding this gun to kind of shoot people and then just … there was maybe seven lines.

But the Adam & Eve one, that was really cool. It was a very, very long day. I remember being like, “I can’t believe this is so long.” (Laughs) But it was great. Will Ryder was the director; I mean, he was awesome. Everything about that was really awesome and there was no major stress. Even though we were all there really early and stayed really late, everyone stayed in a good mood. It was a good experience.

1319frontlargeVery cool. You also appeared in the Measure X film for Zero Tolerance. Can you talk about your part in that movie and your own personal feelings on the Measure B condom mandate?

I think Measure B is a bunch of bullshit because I do not like the fact that the world can control whether I want to use a condom or not. That’s not okay, in my opinion – that’s not okay at all and I’m really pissed about it.

I don’t like using a rubber; I just don’t like it. I was never really promiscuous in my personal life – I was only together with boyfriends – but I never used them. Then I got into porn, nobody used them and now I’m supposed to? What the fuck is that about?

The whole Measure X movie … they asked us, “Will you donate your body parts (Laughs) and shoot this movie?” It was easy breezy. Me and Bonnie Rotten did a girl/girl scene together and it was great – she’s like a little fucking Tazmanian Devil. (Laughs) It was short – it was a short day; it wasn’t time-consuming or anything like that. We just shot the scene and no big deal. But I hope they sold a lot of copies so that some money went towards it.

Yeah. I thought it was really cool how people both in front of the camera and behind the scenes donated their time for the movie to help raise funds.

Yeah.

As you mentioned, you have an official website, CapriCavanni.com. Would you like to discuss your site a little bit and what those who sign up for membership can expect?

Yeah. My site, there is a whole bunch of content on it, I think there are like 90 scenes. When you sign up, you get one a week; that’s how it goes. But there is a lot of content over the past four years. It’s all stuff that I’ve wanted to do – the people that I’ve wanted to have sex with, not who I’m told I’m having sex with. That’s the bonus of my official site: I don’t fuck anyone that I don’t like or I don’t want to. Sometimes in porn, you have altercations with certain people and you still have to work with them and you have to put your altercation aside because of the director and the company that want you to do this film. I’ve done scenes with a performer that I really don’t care for, but you have to just push that way. But for content, those are people I am down to fuck because I’m fucking them for free – yeah, okay, I’m going to make money down the road.

The scenes are really good. They’re fun, they’re good, a lot of them are my own ideas – that’s one thing that I like as well. I was shooting with one director once for content where he would build me a set. I’d get there and he’d be like, “Okay, Capri, what do you want to do?” And that was awesome. It was all our own ideas and my own fantasies, which is something I really like to do, too. I got to do a crazy one with a whole bunch of oil the other day; that was bomb – I love oil and I love having it fucking poured all over me!

I did a hot scene with Ryan Driller; I’ve been shooting a lot of content lately. I’ve been shooting a lot of really hardcore boy/girl content, so there is a lot of that on there. There is a lot of girl/girl because I really like girls – I like girls a lot.

There is a good diversity and there is also a bunch of stuff from my private life with my booty calls (Laughs) – I film them all the time. They know because I make them hold the camera. So, whatever guy I have coming to see me, I kind of do a little P.O.V. thing. And I put all those on the site as well, so people get to see me in my personal life, on set and all that jazz, which I think is cool.

I like the P.O.V. ones. They’re different – they’re shorter because a lot of guys, they’re not porn stars, they don’t fuck for a living, so they don’t last as long (Laughs) – but, they’re good.

BGuXkiJCAAE_KycIs there one misconception about the adult business from people outside of it that bothers you?

There are a lot of misconceptions about the industry – a lot. Like, too many. A) The females that do porn, we’re not down to fuck all the time. If we’re making money off of doing this, it means that we’re smart. (Laughs) That, I think, is misconception number one.

When I meet – we call them “civilian” guys or whatever – and they think that I’m just some whore? No – that’s not the case at all, actually. It’s that I’m comfortable with my body and it just so happens that I ended up in porn.

I’ve been obsessed with porn since I was a child, though. I think a lot of us who do porn, we have this sick little obsession with it and hence why it’s so hard to leave – because it’s a great day. It’s a great day doing porn.

But misconceptions … yeah, we’re all down to fuck. That’s the biggest one that really gets to me is that people think I’m just some slut, which that is not the case. If they knew me in my personal life, they would completely change their mind.

I think people think we make a lot more money then we do – that’s the other (misconception), too. Back in the day, the industry was much more lucrative than it is now with the economy crashing and free porn – whoever made those tube sites, they kind of really killed it for us. And even some of my members – I’m finding content from my website on these little sites. And that pisses me off because I’ve busted my ass to make a good website.

Right. May I ask a few questions about yourself as a person if that’s alright?

Yeah, of course.

Great. Can you tell us where you were raised and how you would describe yourself growing up?

Well, I was raised in a small town outside of Vancouver called Maple Ridge. I was raised with a really good mom and sisters and a lot of land, growing my own food, having all the animals I wanted, fishing, hiking and camping.

I came from a good family. My mom was a very hard worker; my father wasn’t really around. My mother and my nonna – which is my grandmother, I’m Italian – they raised me really well. They did raise me well – some people beg to differ because I do porn (Laughs) – but in my personal life, I’m a really honest person, I’m a really loyal person. I’m kind of too honest because I just don’t care what people think, so I’ll just say what I feel. Sometimes I forget about the filter – the filter just goes away.

But I’m a normal person. I have dogs and I take them to the park all the time, I cook and I clean – well, okay, I don’t clean, I have a maid (Laughs). That’s really about it.

Growing up in Vancouver is a lot different than here. People are a lot different up in Canada and I appreciate the people in Canada a lot. They are very well-versed and very polite and that’s definitely had a huge effect on me and how I am and why I definitely tend to come off a little bit different to a lot of people here.

My mom was a really good mom – she busted her ass to take care of me. And I was really close to my sisters – I have three sisters.

BGECIDlCIAAL7SaAs you mentioned, you have a veterinary background as well as two dogs. I read in one of your interviews the story of your second dog – it was a rescue.

(Laughs) Yeah.

I thought it was a neat story. Would you mind sharing it again?

Yeah. I was online looking for a French Bulldog and I saw a picture of this little rat-looking thing. She was tiny. And some girl was saying that the dog was sick and she couldn’t take care of her.

I was still pretty new. What I actually did was when I went back to Canada, I went to my old hospital and I got a bunch of medications for the dog and I brought them for my pit bull. I brought them to California with me because I refused to pay the veterinary prices that they charge for stupid stuff.

When I saw this ad for this puppy, I was like, “Aw, shit. I can’t just keep on scrolling down and pretend I didn’t see it – that’s not me.” So, I called this girl and I was like, “Hey, I’ll help you with your dog.” She gives me an address – it was in Compton. I drove all the way from Woodland Hills to Compton – not knowing I was going to Compton. I got down there and was like, “Wow, this is one shady-ass neighborhood.” All these people with, like, their pants down to their fucking ankles pretty much. I’m exaggerating, obviously, but it was like all these gang-bangers – really scummy and terrifying, actually. I was driving and I’m like, “What the fuck did I get myself into?”

I called this girl and I’m like, “Hey, I’m here.” And I brought my pit bull with me, just in case anything happens. (Laughs) And the girl was like, “Okay, come walk up to my car.” I’m like, “Walk up to your car? What the fuck is this? O-kay …” I unroll my windows and Yoko, my dog, I’m like, “Okay, if anything happens to me, jump out of the car.” (Laughs)

(Laughs)

I walk up to the girl’s car, she unrolls her window, hands me this puppy and then drives away. And I was like, “O-kay …” I call her and I’m like, “I think there was a miscommunication. I didn’t say I was taking the dog.” And she’s like, “I can’t take care of her.” And that was pretty much that.

So, I took her home for a day and then I met this one director, Barrett Blade, and I was like, “Hey, I found this puppy.” He was thinking about getting a dog, so I gave my dog to him, but he called me the next day and was like, “I can’t handle it. She won’t stop crying.” Because she had kind of instantly bonded with my pit bull. So, I went and picked her back up and that was four years ago. So, that’s the story of Anna.

Yeah. I just thought that was quite a story. Obviously, it’s unfortunate what had happened to the dog, but the story of how you rescued her is pretty cool.

Yeah – she fell into a very good home and she knows it. (Laughs)

BKB7EZaCcAAFzhVVery nice. How about interests and hobbies outside of work?

My hobbies outside of work? I skydive. That’s one of my biggest hobbies and the funnest thing that I think I do.

I go to the gym a bit. I pole dance a lot – that’s really fun for me to do. I go to the beach a lot, the dog beach – I take my dogs to the beach a lot. I’m really down with the beach.

I hike a lot. I go to the gun range; I like to shoot guns.

Skydiving is one of my biggest ones. I try to do that everywhere I go. When I went to Hawaii, I went skydiving.

Is there one thing about yourself that you feel would surprise a lot of people?

I knit. (Laughs) That may be one. I knit and I cook.

I speak French – French is my first language. I think there is a lot about me that would surprise a lot of people once they get to know me. But I’m really just a normal person with normal values. I just have flexible morals. (Laughs)

How about favorites – favorite movie, T.V. show and musical artists?

My favorite music is house music. I’m an undercover country fan, though – I love my country music.

I’m not really a big fan of T.V. I watch a lot of CSI and Law & Order, stupid stuff like that. Some tattoo show, like tattoo cover-up show, I watch that a lot because I want to get my tattoo on my back covered up.

Movies – Disney movies are actually one of my favorite things, I’ve loved them since I was a kid. When I was a child, I had every single Disney movie possible and now, I had a couple fans send me a couple movies like Peter Pan and Fantasia 2000 – that’s one of my favorites because I play the piano as well. Fantasia is all about classical music and it actually had me wanting to become a music conductor when I was a child. I really wanted to be a music conductor because I thought Fantasia 2000 was just awesome.

There is another good movie, it’s called Gotti. It’s about John Gotti, but most people have actually never seen that, which is surprising to me.

Are there any further current or upcoming projects you would like to put out there?

Just my website right now. My feature dancing is starting – I’m going to Huntsville, Alabama next month on the 13th and 14th of September.

That’s about it, really. I shoot for my site about every two weeks; I just shot some really good content last week on this ranch.

We’re making a DVD – that’s actually a project that’s up and coming. So, I’m getting my own first DVD through my network and that will be fun. That’s why I’m shooting a lot now, too – so I can have a bunch of scenes to pick from and then I’ll watch them all and pick the best.

Great. To finish up, is there anything in closing you wish to say to readers?

I appreciate all of my fans very much because my fans are what have made me who I am in the industry today and without them, there would be nothing. (Laughs)

Awesome. I want to thank you for taking time out tonight to speak with me and congratulations again on acquiring the Penthouse cover. I wish you the best moving forward. Have a great night.

Awesome. Thank you so much, Adam.
