qb81_loslixalogosmblack1200Los Angeles, CA., August 15, 2013 – Adult services site Slixa ( set out to change the face of the escort advertising industry and is getting noticed for its efforts. Garnering mainstream attention far outside the limited niches typically available to adult services directories, recent recognition includes feature articles and mentions on Business Insider, Nerve, KillerStartups, DailyDot and Slixa has set the stage to bring private entertainment out of the dark ages and into a social world that is accepting of professional private entertainers and the services they provide.

These minor shifts in the overall attitude towards the industry are evident by recent news. “Slixa has created a clean, well-organized, transparent site that is usually relegated to seedy back pages and cluttered, ugly forums”, notes KillerStartups, “the legitimacy of the format forces clients to see these women as more than just sex objects”.

Business Insider, which titled the article “A Facebook for Escorts,” emphasized much the same in its feature article and site tour of Slixa, commenting that, “It’s got a clean, modern design. It’s incredibly intuitive to use. And it doesn’t look anything like the cheap-looking text-only ads of Backpage”, and ultimately concluding, “The site offers you an incredibly easy way to hire local escorts over the Internet.”

Probably most appreciative of Slixa’s momentum into mainstream acceptance is the private entertainers who make this their profession. In an article mention on one provider described Slixa as “so well-designed that it can make a grown nerd cry”. Continuing, she notes the barriers they face as a result of social stigma. “ [We] are locked out of opportunities to use traditional marketing tactics…and…a higher quality of both design and function is becoming a necessity.”

It appears as though Slixa is filling that need while leading the way to a more socially accepted view of adult service providers and towards the legitimate professional respect they deserve.
